Giving Thanks!

11/30/2023

This Thanksgiving was certainly a time to give thanks. Rebecca hosted Thanksgiving this year with a small family group - Myself (Rob), Jennifer, and Savannah, along with Rebecca and Jasper for a family meal. Later we celebrated with a nice visit to see Johnna at the nursing home. It reminded us all how fragile life can be. It also reminded us how precious each life is and how circumstances can change without warning. But we have the ultimate Hope and know that there is a master plan in it all. We have seen discernable cognitive progress over the past 2 weeks and it is encouraging.

Monday (Nov. 27) was an important day in the health and future for Johnna as the neurologist was to give his latest assessment and future prognosis. All of us have been praying and hoping for a good report. The report is fairly simple. With a specific focus on nutrition and proper therapy, there is a high probability for a full recovery. But the process will take time. The body and mind nerve repair might take up to a year for a full recovery. But the neurologist is 90% certain that there will be a full recovery. We celebrate in this report for sure...But we know that the road will be long and the focus has to be on the "plan" prescribed by the doctors. With continual prayer and support we believe that healing is in process and will be realized.

Please continue to keep Johnna, Jasper, and Rebecca in your prayers. They need continual strength, healing, and wisdom for the days to come.

As always, thank you for all who have committed to be a GENEROSITY HERO by contributing through the GoFundMe account. If you are considering it and have not, please see links throughout this website as well as the post on Facebook. Any help is appreciated.
